WHO WE ARE

Integrative Medicine for Alternative Healthcare Systems (INAM) Philippines, Inc. is a SEC-registered, non-stock, non-profit NGO that evolved from the Acupuncture Therapeutic and Research Center (ATRC), founded in 1984. Supported by health and church-based groups, ATRC pioneered community training in acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) across the country, leading to the creation of the All Philippines Acupuncture Federation (APAF) and the passage of the Traditional and Alternative Medicine Act in 1997.
Since becoming INAM Philippines in 2001, the organization has advanced Philippine Integrative Medicine (PIM) a science-based, culturally grounded, and prevention-centered approach. Guided by its philosophy, “Gamutang Pilipino, Ginhawa ng Tao,” INAM works with LGUs, NGOs, POs, and communities to build sustainable, people-centered healthcare systems, ensuring that health remains in the hands of the people.
