Community Health Activity at Quezon City Hall
Ear Acupuncture Detox Treatment – May 10, 2012
On May 10, 2012, INAM Philippines (Integrative Medicine for Alternative Healthcare Systems) took part in a Community Health Activity at Quezon City Hall, in collaboration with the Quezon City Health Office. The activity aimed to promote accessible and preventive healthcare through the use of integrative and alternative medicine.
During the event, INAM practitioners provided ear acupuncture (auricular acupuncture) detox treatments to community members and participants of the Quezon City health activity. This technique is widely used to support detoxification, stress reduction, and overall wellness, making it an effective and non-invasive approach for public health settings.
INAM’s participation highlighted the organization’s commitment to working alongside local government units (LGUs) to expand the reach of holistic and community-based health services. By integrating traditional and complementary healing practices into public health activities, INAM continues to advocate for inclusive, people-centered healthcare in urban communities.
