INAM Philippines partnered with the Diocese of Sorsogon through the BEC NASSA Project to conduct a Level 3 Philippine Integrative Medicine (PIM) Training for community health workers from six Basic Ecclesial Community (BEC) areas Alinao, Tagalwoy, Dita, Lapinig, Mahamot, and Binalyuhan.
The week-long training, held from March 7–11, 2011, focused on deepening participants’ knowledge and skills in alternative and holistic health practices, including:
- Community-based health care approaches
- Natural and herbal medicine
- Body-mind-spirit healing integration
This program continues INAM’s mission to empower community health workers and strengthen local health systems through sustainable, integrative, and people-centered healthcare.
