In the wake of Super Typhoon Haiyan (Yolanda), INAM Philippines launched the Haiyan Recovery Medical Mission to extend holistic healthcare support to survivors in Tacloban City and nearby Leyte communities.
The mission united a dedicated team of volunteer healers, doctors, therapists, and community workers who provided integrative and community-based post-disaster healthcare to help survivors recover both physically and emotionally.
Through this initiative, INAM delivered:
- Acupuncture and Tuina therapy for pain relief and emotional stress management
- Trauma and psychosocial healing sessions to support recovery and resilience
- Community health education promoting natural, preventive, and sustainable care practices
This effort exemplified INAMβs enduring mission to advance people-centered, integrative, and holistic healthcare, especially in times of crisis and healing.
π INAM Philippines expresses its deepest appreciation to all volunteers, partner organizations, and local communities who participated in this mission of compassion. Your collective effort and commitment brought hope, comfort, and healing to those rebuilding their lives after Typhoon Haiyan.
